MTRA’s Barn Manager Gail Dufresne has offered to host a Horsemanship Class for all MTRA registered volunteers who wish to gain more knowledge of basic horsemanship. The class will be held at 5:00 pm every Tuesday.
This class will give each person a “hands on” experience with one of our horses. Class size is limited to 10 people, so contact Karen Holmberg our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@mtraocala.org or by phone at 352-732-7300 as the class will be open on a first come, first served basis.
This is a great opportunity for our volunteers to get comfortable with horse handling. Whether you come to one class or a month of classes, Gail will make sure your horse experience is a memorable and safe one!
