Our “Golden Corral” of Retirees
Every horse that spends time at MTRA earns their angel wings many times over. We are privileged to give these angels a soft, loving place to spend their last few years.
We appreciate every gift towards helping us keep these loving creatures comfortable and well fed. Senior horses require extra care not just in labor and loving attention, but many are on special feeds, supplements and medications, as well as the usual veterinary and farrier programs, making them even more expensive to maintain than their still working stablemates in our main program. To help us with care, food and medicine, click on the “Please feed me!” horse on this page, and thank you so much for your support!
