MTRA is very proud of our volunteers and their generosity in giving their time and talent to the community when needed. Recently, a group of volunteers covered almost the entire day of December 23, 2013 at Paddock Mall wrapping gifts to benefit the Marion County Children’s Alliance. From early morning until 11 PM that evening, the volunteer team of Jan Hathaway and nephew, Ralph Flood, Patti Homschek, Deborah Marholin, Sue Brown, Rob Hathaway, staff members Karen Holmberg, Gail Dufresne and Jessie Brown, as well as MTRA Board members Karen Cunningham and Tami Johnson. Special thanks to Monica Bryant, Family Violence Prevention Coordinator for MCCA for giving us this opportunity to help a fellow charity.
Many familiar faces came by the Gift Wrap center including the families of MTRA riders and other donors who were happy to see our volunteers helping out. MTRA Volunteers are the best!
