Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Marion Therapeutic Riding Association’s Greenway facility as we celebrate the connection of horse and humans making magic happen every day. The winner of the Silver Springs International Film Festival for Best Documentary Short, “Riding My Way Back“, will be shown after a light supper. This 2014 Equus film shows how the very strong connection of human compassion and equine spirit can overcome many challenges in a method without medication. Many veterans are suffering from emotional scars that only a horse can reach. This is a touching story about a veteran, a horse, and hope.
At 5:30 pm a light supper will be served, followed by this award-winning film. After the film, a short panel discussion will be held to focus on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the resources available through equine therapy.
