TheCaravanJoin MTRA for a reception at the Florida Horse Park on Thursday, March 12th and meet the drivers!

After a 2,500 mile journey with horse drawn vehicles that began in Murietta, California last November, The Caravan arrived at the Florida Horse Park earlier this week and there will be a reception there honoring them on Thursday, March 12th from 1-3 pm. The reception will feature a demonstration by Ocala’s PATH International Premier Therapeutic Riding Center, Marion Therapeutic Riding Association.

On Saturday, March 14th, the participants in THE CARAVAN will complete their journey by continuing on to The Grand Oaks Resort in Weirsdale, their final destination.

The CaravanEveryone is invited for this meet and greet The Caravan participants. Horses of all breeds have participated with the creators of this event, Gerard Pagan, from British Columbia and Michael Muir, From California. They are both very experienced in riding and carriage driving and long distance driving. The participants may be driving singles, doubles and teams of four horses, ponies and even mules and donkeys. This adventurous group has traveled through the southern United States across the continent and will have stories and special guests to share with reception attendees.

Marion Therapeutic Riding Association, a 501(c)3 corporation and Ocala’s premier therapeutic horseback riding center. MTRA is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center and offers the miraculous benefits of therapeutic horseback riding to persons of all ages and capabilities that are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged.
